“That’s definitely true,” he sighs, “And I say fuck what everyone else thinks, it’s usually stupid anyway. I used to care about that type of shit a whole lot, but then I realized I was only making myself feel worse about who I am. So, I try not to care too much anymore.”

“Actually, I was going to say being not normal is good,” she began, waving her hands. “But here you go babbling about yourself again.” 

“Well now. That makes me wonder what exactly it is that people define as normal. Considering the fact that we’re all different, some more than others. Not just myself. See? Progress! I’m talking about everyone in general, not just me.”

“I wouldn’t say you’re normal…” she teased, sticking out her tongue playfully. “You’re far from normal~” She pat his head for the hundredth time in their conversation, a grin still on her features. 

He looks as if he’s about to argue with that fact, but he sticks up nose up quite arrogantly and shrugs. “Why thank you, I do believe I am very unique. Which makes me special. But really, you flatter me far too much~ I thought we were going to be casual, dollface.”

“Well, not exactly like around him!” She scratched the back of her head. “I mean more laid back! I wouldn’t want you insulting me almost every freaking second I’m with you, ya know. That’d just be plain annoying.” 

“Oh? Well why didn’t you say that in the first place?” He laughed teasingly and gave her a light pat to the shoulder. “Yeah, yeah. I know what you mean, I was just fuckin’ with ya. I can be normal, believe it or not. Not many people know what that is exactly, because I tend to keep to myself.”

Actually I have a headcanon for this

Romano is a goofy, honest drunk. It isn’t often that he gets drunk, though. He drinks wine to savor the taste, and because he loves it. He knows his limits, and it takes quite a bit to get him drunk, anyway.

But the few times that he does get drunk, he’s suddenly very giddy, laughing at nothing at all and he won’t stop smiling. He’s also completely honest, saying things he’d never say otherwise. And if he’s drunk enough, he’ll also be quite touchy-feely.

He really fucking hates all of that. So he tries not to go over his limit.
